The Old Stone Fort is a prehistoric Native American construction in Coffee County, Tennessee, in the United States' Southeastern region. During the Middle Woodland period, the structure was most likely constructed between 80 and 550 AD.
During peak season, the hiking routes meander through the woods and along the waterfront, displaying approximately ten waterfalls along the way. Of course, you'll have to keep your eyes peeled! Bluehole Falls and Big Falls, both of which gush 30 feet to the waters below, are the most well-known falls along the Duck River.
It's said to be the burial ground of an ancient Native American..... something…. Don't worry, the visitor's center has everything you need to get started. You won't be disappointed if you're seeking for a series of swimming holes that you'd only find in National Geographic Traveler, as long as there isn't a drought.
Guests can participate in a variety of activities in the park. The primary hiking track follows the wall of Old Stone Fort, which was formerly a ceremonial gathering site for Native Americans.
