Ozone Falls State Natural Area is a state natural area in Tennessee's Cumberland County. It spans 43 acres and is focused on Ozone Falls, a 110-foot plunge cascade with a gorge along Fall Creek.


What is the length of the trek to Ozone Falls?

A rough 34-mile walk begins on the cliff overlooking the falls and then descends into the canyon, past Gamblers Den, a tiny rock cabin. Hikers must retrace to reach the trailhead after following Fall Creek to its confluence with Renfro Creek.


Is it possible to swim at Ozone Falls?

Ozone Falls cascades 110 feet over a cliff onto a large pool below. Swimming is feasible in this pool, however it can be tough.... Fall Creek vanishes below after the deep pool and resurfaces downstream. This section of the river was ideal for swimming and exploration.
