Cumberland Mountain State Park is a state park in Tennessee's Cumberland County, in the southeast United States. The park encompasses 1,720 acres and is centered around Byrd Lake, a man-made lake built in the 1930s by the impoundment of Byrd Creek.
Cumberland Mountain State Park Swimming is an image result. In the interest of public health and worker safety, the pool at Cumberland Mountain State Park was closed for the summer of 2021. The park is still operating and a nice spot to go if you want to do some water sports. Other park activities can be found here.
The biggest timbered plateau in America, this 1,720-acre park provides informative programs, gorgeous paths, and a range of land and water activity. Dogs are welcome at no extra charge in tent or RV sites. The trails are dog-friendly.
I can mention that in camping area 1, there were four wifi antennae, and we did receive a very constant wifi connection with download rates of 4-5 Mbps and upload speeds of 2-4 Mbps. This seems to be more practical than our Verizon signal. The Cumberland Plateau is home to Cumberland Mountain State Park.
Check-out is at 11 a.m. local time for lodge rooms and 10 a.m. for cabins. We are now a pet-friendly establishment.
